- Live Track of the DayIn World Outside The Window·25 October 2019A band that don't get talked about too much here, but imo, they are a real class act ...and definitely have their own thing going on.. - Tripping away.In William's World·3 April 2025As someone mentioned Ripping Yarns it tempted me so I invested in a Boxset to offset the delay of QDAGOTB. It’s great stuff and The Testing of Eric Olthwaite is brilliant. Bury Market though is still the best place for Black Pudding.41138

- WHAT'S COMING IN 2022?In William's World·18 December 2021Whilst 'My Private Cosmos' and 'Mixed Up Kid' are now released and hopefully enhancing your musical environment, there is still much to look forward to in 2022. Next year will see me trying to deal with the backlog of unreleased albums going back to 2016. Albums such as 'Phantom Fuzzbox,' ' 'Studio Cadet,' 'Electra,' ''Memory Loft,' 'Powertron,' 'Magnetic Travels',' Stupid Serious,' 'Amplified Dreams And Wild Surprises,' and ''Cathode Paintbox.' All of which have been waiting in the wings for far too long. But there is always the temptation to release my latest projects first, a temptation I really must resist as there are so many 'logjam' albums worthy of being at the front of the queue. I haven't slowed down or taken a break though, and have another brand new album in the works titled, (at the moment,) 'Man Of Dreams.' In many ways it's a whisper away from 'Mixed Up Kid' in style but also slightly different. It's as if the 'kid' grew up. I just need a couple more tracks to complete the album and then I'll be itching to release it. So, whatever the scenario, there will be a wealth of new and varied music to keep you entertained throughout the coming year. Hopefully containing lots of delightful and exciting surprises! 😉😊13331522

Of course the most exciting finding in the early 1990s was the EnigmaCocteau SOS with 2 live tracks!….how long was the wait for Art / Empire / Industry and the wonderful Live De Montfort Hall?….prayers do get answered 🤣 we are not alone 😎1

- The return of Trump - what next?In World Outside The Window·10 November 2024I will keep this short, and not divulge my opinions on The Great Man, but rather repeat three comments made about him; one - a retired four-star general who is quoted as saying that, in his opinion, Trump is 'the literal definition of a fascist'; two - that Trumps' unpredictability' makes him an 'asset' in relation to foreign policy, diplomacy and trade deals; and three - from one sweet young American citizen (who had voted for Kamala Harris), and who explained, with sincerity and clarity, that she is 'terrified for her life and for the lives of her many fellow Americans' - this was said with passion and tears rolling down her cheeks. Since we take great in never learning from our mistakes, (The Simpsons -'never back down, never admit to being wrong') - I feel, sadly, that this time we're toast.31132443

- A SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY...In William's World·22 April 2020Yesterday, (21st April,) was our Silver Wedding Anniversary, an event we had originally planned to celebrate by having a party for family, friends and the Nelsonica team. Obviously, the Coronavirus lockdown has put paid to that idea, as has the very sad passing of my mother which overshadows our mood at the moment. To 'put the tin lid on it' as they say, I suffered a nasty fall yesterday, twisting my ankle and receiving cuts, gashes and sprains to various body parts. My ankle is currently swollen and painful and I can't walk without intense discomfort so it looks like I'm housebound for more reasons than the social distancing required by the lockdown. I was also meant to travel to Wakefield to deal with the sorting out and clearing of my mother's home but that will now have to wait a few days until I get my mobility back. Feeling fed up and depressed but Emiko continues to be my shining light. Her love and care for my well being never ceases to astonish me. Why she would love such a muggins as me is beyond comprehension, but I love her dearly and am deeply grateful that she shares her life with me. We've known each other and had a deep relationship longer than the 25 years of our actual marriage, but it's lovely to reach the Silver Wedding marker. I'm nothing without her.
