Always admired his hairdo. When I was a kid, Clem Burke’s drumming seemed the closest thing to Keith Moon’s style to be found in pop music. It was more controlled though, like what Mick Karn did with fretless bass as opposed to what Jaco Pastorius did.
I never got to see Blondie live, but saw multiple Chequered Past shows when they were first starting out. Clem Burke and Steve Jones on the same stage was a musical force like no other.
