Ive just caught up with this. Very sad news indeed, Dunc was always the first person I sort out whilst in attendance at The Nelsonicas events. He will be truely missed,condolences to his family

The Liverpool gig was at The Polytechnic, I have a couple of blown up photos of the night, not brilliant but a photos all the same. Bill playing the guitar and the marimba? in front of a huge bank of tv screens. In the audience was a few of the new Liverpool music scene Ian McCullough, from the Bunnymen, Holly Johnson, from Frankie goes to Hollywood and Andy McClusky from OMD Was a hell of a gig

Further to my post re Be Bop Deluxe being played on Richard Latto's "Stereo Underground radio show. I e mailed Richard explaining Bills mighty career and copied and pasted Bills actual reply suggesting The Golden Days of Radio and Richard has kindly replied saying to watch and listen to this space in the next few weeks. I will let you all know 😉

Thanks for all the replies, I actually got back in touch with Richard Latto and explained to him that Bill had been in touch and recommended the particular track, Bill that you suggested I also through a curve ball in there myself and suggested "Tantramatic" but doubt he could get a hold of that one. Will keep listening and keep you posted 😉

It would truly be wonderful to attend another Nelsonica again and see so many familiar faces, but I think this year is a little too soon because obviously, the pandemic. But here is hoping to 2022 and if Bill doesn't feel up to it due to his health etc. I'm sure we can all arrange a get together somewhere. Just like the first Nelsonica all those years ago 😉

"Transcorder" I absolutely love this period of Bills, can't believe where the time has gone. Our Steve will be listening in somewhere nodding his head in appreciation. I've also got Vibrato Wonderland which I will be listening to through the cans see how the new recordings stands up Thanks Bill and the team, Burning Shed and all for a job well done.

May I pass on my condolences to you and your family. You sent me a PM when my brother passed away 14 months ago it was a lovely gesture. May I reciprocate. Your Mum will be with you always as my brother Steve goes everywhere with me. Stay strong.
