I agree with you Alex ...Tim sensitive Steven less so .... but neither one would know Art if it bit them on their ass 😅 the comment of making a 1000 CDs to sell to the same 1000 people says it all for me ... absolutely no idea of creating without commercial intent (at least mainstream commercial intent) I have watched previous episodes of the podcast and they always talk about the same what was popular at the time music with an emphasis on "prog" and the Hamm- Floyd etc. .... all with odd mentions of Taylor Swift etc to try to influence the YouTube algorithm? 😅 ....tedious .... you know I think I may be a very cynical old Yorkshireman at this point 😉😅

The album years podcast is like listening to the same things the NME used to print in the late 70s early 80s .... banal opinions about most of the music I had no interest in at the time ... Steven Wilsons opinions are a lot like his music ...occasionally insightful but mostly conservative and derivative ...... sounds a little harsh but there you go 😉

Cherry red Esoteric are unlikely to release just another remastered version of the album and tracks from that period …. it’s likely a new stereo mix and 5.1 versions are what to expect …. The Red noise box set inclusions of “Disposable” “instantly yours” “ideal homes” new mixes indicate to me that the multi track tapes are available and hopefully we can expect the same treatment for the rest of the album ……. I am somewhat of an optimistic idealist though 😬😉😅

I agree Simon it’s a fabulous track ….. but for me there are hundreds of seemingly overlooked pieces …. I've given up wondering why this amazing music isnt in many more homes and l think Bill is actually making all of this amazing music just for me 😊❤️
