Invisibity Exhibition flyer from Leeds 1981

Yes I will try to post if my technology performs!!

Following my earlier post regarding the Leeds Invisibility Exhibition show in 1981, the venue I believe was the Warehouse Club (not The Wardrobe) that opened in 1979 in Somers Street in the city centre.

Hi. I have an A4 sized flyer/poster for the Invisibility Exhibition which came from the 1981 show in Leeds. There is no date listed. I think this show was at a club called the Wardrobe? The flyer is blue on the front with a black & white silhouette of Bill stood against a window and has printed copied hand written notes by Bill on the back. The participating performers are listed as Bill Nelson, David Claridge, Richard Jobson, Ian Nelson, The Yorkshire Actors Company, Last Man In Europe & The Beauty and the Beast, by Jean Cocteau. I recall having a backstage pass for this show and all the performers had a small party after the show in a very cramped upstairs room in the club!

Simon Armitage also did a series of programmes on Radio 4 interviewing a variety of musicians and people working in the arts about their lives and careers etc. The interviews were carried out in his garden shed near Huddersfield. I would suggest Bill puts his name forward to be on the programme, as Simon is obviously a fan! I am sure it would be a very good listen and a great chance to promote his music and Yorkshire! I am pleased Steve has managed to locate the Guy Garvey programme information.
