Not really…on first listen I felt a 1950’s vibe with SC & graphics…the other worldlinesses captured in the film mirrors BN’s fascination with future world optimism (not always of course 🤣)…I have reached Sonoluxe 10 in my playback so I am also getting nicely lost in 2007/8…

I was mortified when in 1973 my mother washed my Levi’s with my ticket for King Crimson in the pocket. This was after the gig fortunately but a reconstruction was made and it’s in the Starless Boxset! I wish I had made such lists as only since retaining tickets is the memory enabled more easily. I still have browning music paper clippings stashed…nice…but I haven’t succumbed to an anorak yet.

…the addition of new highly listenable music only makes it less likely I’ll not be able to hear my whole collection before my mortal coil breaks…but hey it’s privilege I’ll bear(?)….a quest for the harvest of stars 🤷‍♂️🤣…

It’s a fact that a good drummer can make a band. That is totally true for the finest of times for BBD. Heroes come and go but the music lives.

As a massive KC fan I can’t agree with Fripp & Wilson’s view of The Howler….as a listener who has based his listening on the bedrock of Gentle Giant & King Crimson listening to chat by anyone quickly pales once the music is played. Hopefully feedback from last night’s York Event will be plentiful.

I was lucky enough to pick up Sound-On-Sound and The Strangest Things in the early 1990s on Enigma/Cocteau. And that was in a small long gone store in Bolton, England…obviously they had an eye for a good import.
