As a callow schoolboy, I was not too embarrassed to have my trusty Instamatic camera with me. There is an unpolished charm to these photographs. I have never shown them publicly before. I could replay the gig in my mind as if it were yesterday but the fading of these photographs (even tucked away unseen in a cupboard for so many years) seems symbolic of their increasing historical significance.
