Reaction

I don't know if any of you get a kick out of "reaction" videos. I guess it's a kin to "people-watching" so when a Be Bop Deluxe one shows up on my feeds I almost always take a look. The last one had me shaking my head. Here's this guy listening to Axe Victim and he stops it in the middle to make comments and he after he deliberates on analog recording he says, "It's a neat song. Hopefully there's a big ol' solo in it." 😂 Uh, yeah, that's Bill Nelson, bro!

And yes, I've not seen one where the reactor isn't amazed at Bill's work and yet still they don't know he is much more than just the guitarist. If they did, they would be one of us, right?

We are so blessed, are we not? Thanks Bill.

Looking for Be Bop Deluxe isolated guitar tracks

I've tried a lot of the stem music separator sites with varying results, but nothing that's really good at isolating the guitar parts of certain Be Bop Deluxe songs where I'm trying to figure out the solos, like the end solo of the studio version of "Fair Exchange." I can kind of make out the first couple of bars in my slow-down software. But even when I push the upper-end EQ, the guitar still sounds too buried.

I know it's a wish list Big Ask, but will Be Bop Deluxe isolated guitar tracks from the master tapes ever be available online? I know that someone's been posting Van Halen isolated guitar tracks a lot lately on YouTube. It'd be a big help for me, a guitar player who'd like to learn how to play the parts correctly.

I know it's not the same as isolated guitar tracks - but there is quite an extensive guitar TAB section here in Dreamsville that might help you to work out thise tricky bits...
