There's an article about the Sex Pistols and the recording of Anarchy In The UK, and it states that Bill was being considered to produce the track. I can't say I've heard or read about this anywhere. Can any one, Bill maybe shed any light, we're there any discussions that happened?

To brighten an otherwise dreary, rainy day, today's post included the Orchestra Futura CD! I am beyond pleased to be able to enjoy this today, as the trio's set were some of my favorite Nelsonica moments. And as I was at two of the performances from which these tracks were taken, it has the added bonus of capturing precious personal memories. Thanks, Bill, Dave and Theo (and everyone else involved) for sharing this with the world.
Yesโฆitโs great to have that which we enjoyed but may have forgotten what it actually was. These were nice events and as I joked with my brother our collective clapping may be heard. It just shows how intuitive playing can, if captured, be enjoyed repetitively and be worthy of posterityโฆโฆrock on Bill.

Hello, I was bidding on the Bill Nelson tapes, not for the Red Noise ones, but for the randomly included Dollar demo that was in that lot. Sadly I lost the lot by ยฃ10.
My husband is the huge Bill Nelson/Be Bop fan on this forum, which is why I looked at the lot, but my favourite has always been Dollar. I have the worlds largest s collection and have project managed all their catalogue reissues for the last 20 years. Thereza from the duo regularly stays with us and even she doesnโt have a copy of the song on the tape.
If the winner of the lot reads this and is willing please can they get in touch? Iโd be happy to pay for the transfer of the tape just to get a copy of the song, which was never released.

This goes back to an interview in Record Collector magazine about two years ago. In 1976, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock and Paul Cook all discussed the need to employ a more able producer for what would become the Never Mind the Bollocks album. Jones, in particular, was a Be Bop Deluxe fan and was aware that Bill was now either producing or co-producing BBDs albums. He and - I think - Cook were keen on asking Bill to produce NMTB.
I don't think Bill ever was asked, but I'd love to hear that that wasn't the case. Goodness knows how that could have worked out for anyone!
