In it, he mentioned he was from Yorkshire along with Mick Ronson. Somebody I know and love is from Yorkshire so I was wondering if Mr. Magnetism himself knew them back in the day? Not being from the area, the premise could be akin to me knowing someone from California but given the nature of the work they were involved in, I was curious about any possible relationships.

Am I correct in thinking that Woody was offered an audition with Paul McCartney for Wings, but didn't turn up? I might have read that in his bio.
