Metaphysical Jerks
There are two versions of this song, one on the Yukihiro Takahashi release 'Stranger Things Have Happened' which features Mick Karn on bass, and another on the compilation 'Duplex' which was meant to be from the Chimera sessions. The CD liner notes seem to imply Bill Nelson played bass on this version though, does anyone know for sure if that's true? Since Karn played on Glow World for Chimera, it makes me wonder if it was him on this version too.

If I recall correctly, Bill explained that Yukihiro sent Bill a tape of something that he (Yukihiro) and Mick had started. He requested Bill add to it. This is undoubtedly ‘Metaphysical Jerks’ and that title seems like something Bill would come up with. I believe this was explained on the vanished forum. Can’t see why the bass would be re-recorded but who know?
