The article really captures how the music industry has shifted - not just in how artists earn, but in how listeners value (or undervalue) the work behind every track. It’s eye-opening and honestly a bit frustrating to see how streaming platforms reshape expectations. For me, it also highlights how essential it is for creatives to understand the business side, just like any small company does. Even musicians could benefit from tools similar to small business bookkeeping, simply to stay afloat in such an unpredictable landscape.
