Bill, if the day you talk of was a Sunday, it must have been 1973. I checked the internet! This date in the following year, 1974, a Monday, is when Be Bop Deluxe supported Cockney Rebel at Tiffanys in Hull. My first ever gig.

Bill. Further to you mentioning that you spoke to Milton and Paul on 15-Jul-1974 at Tiffanys Hull, I noticed on Steve Harley's website an article detailing his early gigs. 15-Jul-1974 is listed and one week later on 22-Jul-1974 he played Manchester Hard Rock, and the article says it was announced that Cockney Rebel were no more!
