D'ADDARIO STRINGS FOUNDER PASSES...
Many of you who are guitarists will know of D'Addario strings. The company's strings are factory fitted to many of the guitars we buy today and are known all over the world. Co-founder of the company, Jane D'Addario, sadly passed away on June 14th, 2021, aged 72 years old. She was born in 1948, the same year as myself. Another sad loss for the fraternity of guitarists. Jane was a generous philanthropist who supported many worthy causes. My deepest sympathy to her family and loved ones.

Very sad indeed. They are the only strings I use on my guitars and bass since the early 80's.
