Springsteen's Western Stars released today. Western Stars, a colorful song about aging. A solo album that he will not tour behind but will soon enter the recording studio with the E-Street Band to record and tour. I don't know if he can do an over four hour gig as last tour. I am planning to travel by train from Oxfordshire later to arrive in Leeds at teatime. I understand from news reports this morning that travelling to Yorkshire today has been seriously disrupted by the weather. Can anyone closer to the ground, as it were, provide the latest and whether or not there will be any changes for the positive please? Many thanks, Douglas

Coronavirus - conflicting instructions and actions

While I appreciate how difficult dealing with this situation is, the government have been frustratingly inconsistent at times: People who are not in essential services should stay at home. Let's cut public transport to encourage people to stay at home. Only essential workers who can't work from home should use public transport. Wait a minute - why are people still packing out the tubes? They should be running a full service to prevent this from happening. People who can't work from home and are not essential workers can still go to work if their office can practice social distancing. WTF?!
