- Who Sets Up Your GuitarIn William's World·4 February 2020Maestro, (and others please feel free to chime in) If I may indulge... I would be curious to know if you do your own set up or if you employ a master technician to manage and adjust your guitar(s) set up, action, neck adjustments, pick-up swaps, ... and such As a totally amateur player myself, I gained quite a bit of betterment in my playing having my guitars set up, almost curated so to speak(since I visit my guitar-guy quite often for changes and tweaks on the guitars) I can attest that having one's guitar sound as perfect as it can get can be very inspiring musically. Cheers and thanks for your recent releases Sincerely14163
- PhotosIn World Outside The Window25 March 2023Ha!....Yeah, my hairs crazy-long too, quite a way past shoulder length...Thinking of getting it cut soon, and am a bit fed-up of accidentally ending up chewing my own hair, when eating..😲😉😂 Yes, Basil did wear two hats, briefly, in one episode, I forget which one. He and Sybil are going out and she says something like "You're not going out like that, are you?", referring to his clothes. Basil has a dapper sports jacket on/country-look going on, and is wearing a cap, and replies "Yes dear, it's called style", where upon he heads out of the hotel, stopping at the hat-rack on his way out, picks up a cap off the rack and proceeds to puts it on top of the one he already has on as he walks out. Now, that's going to bug me all night and I'll have to find out exactly which episode it was...😜 I saw a John Cleese interview about a month ago and he did say the Fawlty Towers reboot was indeed happening...Apparently, set in Jamacia.1

- Air Age, It's arrived, a weighty package, looks great, but where do I start ? 😃😃In William's World3 September 2021Well if my memory serves correct, surely the original release of Live! In The Air Age, received a few little studio tweaks in the shape of guitar solo overdubs etc, just to put a little extra spit & polish on the released product..a little 'tidy-up', if you will..Bill should be able to confirm that, but I think that's the case...If that is true, then the other live version/versions in this box-set will sound somewhat different, at least in parts, to the original album pressing, even if it's the exact same track/show.14
- Random ObservationsIn World Outside The Window9 February 2023Thanks for the reply Jon, and as I said, apologies if I missed anything obvious. But I kind of haven't, as to answer your question, no, I didn't receive the newsletter. To double check this, I've just done a search through my emails and all my Dreamsville PM's are there, and Bandcamp notifications of any new BN release emails are there, but no newsletter...In fact, no newsletters at all...=do you have to subscribe to receive these? ...and TBH, I very rarely visit the ESSOLODO CINEMA, and I don't engage with Facebook or Twitter (even though I have a FB account), so I had no idea whatsoever re Bill's Christmas video card.1

- A Fabulous Story TellerIn World Outside The Window·14 June 2019Springsteen's Western Stars released today. Western Stars, a colorful song about aging. A solo album that he will not tour behind but will soon enter the recording studio with the E-Street Band to record and tour. I don't know if he can do an over four hour gig as last tour. He will be 70 in September. Here's the video here and you can see and hear others from Western Stars on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IXzAAKrsFE1466

- Happy birthday ClintIn World Outside The Window·31 May 2021Clint Eastwood turned 91 today. Talk about cool! This location was just over the hill from where we used to live. San Quentin prison is just down the road. It is now under a shopping center. Is nothing sacred?!! Info over the location: I had forgotten how it used to look. Of course that was 50 years ago now. And few years before I moved up there. I can't remember if the quarry buildings were still there in 1975.1450

- Wadcorp? In World Outside The Window·29 March 2022I have found it fairly quiet on here recently and have worked out why. Wadcorp hasn't posted for a good few weeks. I know his mother in-law was not in the best of health so that is could be one reason why or worse still it could be his own health has deteriorated. Do any of our American friend have any idea what the problem is?1484
- Charlie's Backing VocalsIn William's World·16 December 2019Just wanted to acknowledge Charlie's backing/harmony vocals, I have only really started to appreciate them over the past couple of years and they're great. To me they seem to be more prominent in the mix on the deluxe editions of Futurama, Sunburst Finish and Modern Music and are great on the various live recordings. I think the harmonies really add texture to the songs. Don't know if Bill created the harmonies himself, or Charlie or whether it was a team effort but on the original releases they seem very low in the mix, if noticeable at all and that's a shame.14224
- Question: Swearing in oath of a US SenatorIn World Outside The Window·19 December 2019I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God. Both Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham have stated their intent to commit "evasion" and to not "faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am (they are) about to enter." Why has nothing been done?1440
