- What to do with your Bill stuffIn World Outside The Window5 September 2025I lived in Colville, Spokane, Cheney- going to EWU, Pummer in ID - working for C'dA, Usk - working for Kalispel, Everett - working for Tulalip, Auburn - working for Muckleshoot, Taholah - working for Quinault Indian Nation, Seattle - going to the UW. I have thought about going back to the UW as I have a bunch of college credits that I could turn into another undergraduate degree - two minors with the majority being Anthropology - Indian Studies. My thinking is that it gives me even more credibility should I write or lecture. I have made presentations at conferences, provided testimony at multiple levels and have spoken to national audiences. It seems like a logical pathway to write and/or lecture. The role of an Elder is to teach. I have shared previously, that I have put my Bill Collection on a series of data sticks / zip drives / flash drives so that they could be played in the car. I hit random and it is All Bill, All the Time. I don't mess with selection as I am driving. Maybe something like an MP3 player could serve your purposes. Same sort of deal but fits in the palm of your hand. I have just gone into Best Buy and purchased something to address the office din - when I was working. I wish you well.1

- Chris GabrinIn World Outside The Window·2 September 2025Chris Gabrin has left us. Chris provided the photography for many memorable LP covers including John Foxx - “Metamatic”, Ian Dury & The Blockheads - “New Boots And Panties”, Elvis Costello - “This Year’s Model”, and he directed Culture Club - “Time (Clock Of The Heart)” promo video among many others.1297
- Chris GabrinIn World Outside The Window2 September 2025Great photographer. I love the image used on Metamatic, as I do on the New Boots and Panties cover, which is such a great snapshot of the times. I seem to remember he had a little difficulty framing the shot he wanted, with the Ian Dury photograph, and keeping his own reflection out of the shot. Great to see the 'Woolies' sign reflected in the window. I love both of these albums musically, as well..😎11

Anaïs Nin, mai 1946 Journal, tome 4 : 1944 - 1947 The secret to a fulfilling life is to live and interact with others as if they might no longer be there tomorrow, as if you might not be there. This eliminates the vice of procrastination, the sin of procrastination, and missed communions. Anaïs Nin, May 1946 Journal, Volume 4: 1944-194711
- Live Track of the DayIn World Outside The Window31 July 2025"Bust This Town" is definitely a track that showcases their signature blend of rock and soulful grit. They've had a unique style over the years, mixing classic rock vibes with more modern influences, but always maintaining their own distinct sound. It's the kind of song that really benefits from the reach of online music distribution — giving bands like this a chance to connect with both longtime fans and new listeners across platforms without losing that raw, authentic edge.21

- RIP in peace, Hulk Hogan!!In World Outside The Window·24 July 2025Hulk Hogan (1953) is reported to have passed this morning (2025) after monthly decreasing health. He is best known for his recurring role as Hulk Hogan in the popular animated sitcom American Dad. Hulk Hogan was also well-known for using the N word. Since then he has showed remorse because everyone was very sad. He was also well reknowned for his culinary skills, having opened a restaurant about Pasta. He also had a famous music career, with a discography spanning both albums. His skill as a bassist had reportedly attracted the attention of Metallica and The Rolling Stones, but he had to turn those down because of his many more important projects. nevermind i fixed it He also had a career where he rubbed his body parts on other men in front of many people for money. In 2024 he came out as a supporter of president Donald Trump. His voice proved influence that overpowered the criticism from figures such as Eminem, Chris Chan, and ICP. This, this pivotal moment won the election and forever changed US history. RIP brother. HH forever!1398

- Reflections of a better timeIn William's World21 July 2025Thanks Ken... I'm in the US and kept up with most of Bill's EPs, and such but I was never aware of the Contemplation 1983 EP (and don't see it on Discogs, only the '86 single version). But that would help explain why he was playing this material in 1983.31
