Chris Gabrin has left us. Chris provided the photography for many memorable LP covers including John Foxx - “Metamatic”, Ian Dury & The Blockheads - “New Boots And Panties”, Elvis Costello - “This Year’s Model”, and he directed Culture Club - “Time (Clock Of The Heart)” promo video among many others.

Great photographer. I love the image used on Metamatic, as I do on the New Boots and Panties cover, which is such a great snapshot of the times. I seem to remember he had a little difficulty framing the shot he wanted, with the Ian Dury photograph, and keeping his own reflection out of the shot. Great to see the 'Woolies' sign reflected in the window. I love both of these albums musically, as well..😎
