- Atmosphere, Nostalgia and GhostsIn World Outside The Window22 March 2022I don't know too much about this, except I think it's a great little photograph. A really nice looking pub, can't quite make out the name, but can just see it is a Courage ales house. Sadly, these are the kinds of sights you just don't see anymore. It's a location in Eltham, Greenwich, in London..Wonder if this public house is still there?..doubt it. Looks to be late '50s, early 60s and I could just picture pulling in there as it is in this pic and having a Ploughman's and a pint..😎13

- NELSONICA 2022In William's World6 February 2022Many moons ago, the lads got together and put together a Dreamsville Project - The Return of Birthday Bill. I have a picture somewhere of him holding the copy I sent him. If I remember correctly, apparently all the Nelsonica cd's are located somewhere. They might deserve a binge listening. I also remember some draft graphics for a Nelsonica USA. I know that there have been regional Nelsonica's in spirit, as we talked about Tilley and the Coastal Cowboys recently. That was LA. Wadders participated in Kansas City. I think that they drank: The Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porter, as Brewing Bob cleverly named his contribution. I am up for an actual Nelsonica. We could hold it at MoPop at the Seattle Center. Bill could even appear live via internet from his music room. Won't have to leave the house. It could be a Zoom call!13

- Bill is on Martyn Ware's Podcast...In William's World7 March 2023It was really great to hear this interview with Bill. At about 45 minutes of part 2, Bill speaks at length about a visual artist who he recalled as an occultist, working in surreal styles. Try though I might, I cannot understand the artist’s name as Bill voices it via the phone connection. Can someone who knows the name pass it along? Thanks so much.13

- Acceleration Single ArtworkIn William's World17 June 2022It is an actual symbol, wompy2, although I am no expert, not by a long way, in alchemical, nor astrological, symbols. As mentioned by joechip and Alan, the main central symbol does look rather similar to the alchemical symbol used to indicate Mercury, but, as pointed out by Ken Sharpe, it's not that. The main symbol dates back less than 500 years, but the components it consists of and their meanings are significantly older. Dr. John Dee created this esoteric symbol, which is essentially referring to singular authority/ a 'Godhead', and the symbol is meant to express the mystical unity of all creation...the symbol is known as Monad of Dr. John Dee... Basically, John Dee was a 16th century English astronomer, occultist, alchemist, mathematician and philosopher. He created this representative symbol in 1563, using a combination of visual indicators of other significant phenomena, as follows: POINT WITHIN A CIRCLE: astronomical symbol for the sun HALF-CIRCLE/CRESCENT: indicative of the moon EQUAL-ARMED CROSS: representative of the four elements (fire, earth, air and water) DOUBLE CURVE: alchemical symbol for fire ...and the TRIANGLE is the symbol for water. Anyway, that's my (very) basic take on it...It's no doubt much more complex than that..🙂13
