When Bill said that in "Old Goat", was he referring to the Grateful Dead? You know, the famous lyrics from "Truckin'", "What a long, strange trip it's been"? ??????? I just realized Bill started working on "After The Satellite Sings" a few months after Jerry Garcia (unfortunately) passed away. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence, or if that was Bill's subtle tribute to Jerry Garcia. Does anyone know anything or have any info connecting Bill & the Grateful Dead in any way, shape, or form?
