@Palladium What I've found about Facebarf is that you can make it what you want to be, to some degree. You don't have to be the unwilling subject, subjected to all those polarized, highly-biased viewpoints if you don't want to . I don't want to, from either end of the political spectrum. I belong to work and art related groups, I have my own work related group, and I mostly stay away from the feed area where you see the ads and posts from all your Fb friends. Going back was about work, because I hated Fb too, before my last incarnation there (2018). Now, Zuck is a shitbag, and Fb is like a brain tumor, but it doesn't have to kill you. I snoozed and unfollowed almost everyone who posts about politics, so I mostly see what I want to see. A lot of jewelry and metalworking, cats, fractals. But having my own little (work) cult following is a really positive thing. But on the subject of intelligent people, I don't worship them the way I used to. Plenty of highly- intelligent people are at the heart of many of the world's worst problems 😁
