Biographer James S. Williams describes Cocteau's politics as "naturally Right-leaning."[9] During the Nazi occupation of France, Cocteau's friend Arno Breker convinced him that Adolf Hitler was a pacifist and patron of the arts with France's best interests in mind. In his diary, Cocteau accused France of disrespect towards Hitler and speculated on the Führer's sexuality. Cocteau effusively praised Breker's sculptures in an article entitled 'Salut à Breker' published in 1942. This piece caused him to be arraigned on charges of collaboration after the war, though he was cleared of any wrongdoing and had used his contacts to his failed attempt to save friends such as Max Jacob.[10] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Cocteau#Later_years

Mark M's Razor: "Of two competing non- or unverifiable theories, the more astonishing theory is to be preferred." "We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question which divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being correct. My own feeling is that it is not crazy enough." --Niels Bohr Above is prefatory to the following assertion: "The waking state as you think of it is a specialized extension of the dream state... "The waking state, then, has its source in the dream state..." --Seth/Jane Roberts, Session 898, _Dreams, "Evolution," and Value Fulfillment_, Vol. 1

Anyone here put this film at or very near the top of their fave films list like I do? I long to see something that matches it for me.
