A bit of Jimi in Stockholm for you. These shows from 1967 and 1969 are excellent recordings for the time.

Great tune. The outro is just heavenly. I used to have this on vinyl back then. (I even had a couple of his albums on 8 track for playing in my car. ) I have been listening to a lot of Hendrix of late. So many great bootlegs (that Janie hasn't managed to get out of circulation.) Especially some of the shows in Stockholm.

One of my favourite Tull tunes. Crest of a Knave was one of the first cds that I bought. (Yep. I like Load and Reload by Metallica too. I know no shame 😉) I think that I have this bootleg. I guess Tull is like PF, BBD and so many other bands these days. Releasing recordings that have been available for years as bootlegs. I guess they might as well profit from them.

Jeez. I feel old. My first UFO show was Montrose/Journey with UFO opening in September 1975. UFO's Last Orders (50th Anniversary) tour in 2019 was our last UFO show. They were always really good live...even 50 years on. Personally, even though I am a die-hard UFO fan, I never took too much to this one. There are some bootlegs that I prefer. Maybe I need to dig it out again. Here is a good early UFO show Atlanta 1974 (It says bootleg but it has since been released as a bonus cd on a Phenomenon re-issue.
