Sounds like a bit more reverb has been "released" in the new mix?

Ken, not happened in a while but I'm getting goosebumps listening to it! Just like Fiat Lux of old, can't beat a good melody, just need to listen to the rest of the album but can't get past Hope! And Bill is clearly a very good tutor.

Contains three of my favourite tracks, The Embarkation Song Of The Last Fast Airship, Six Legged Critter Singing In The Trees, and possibly the best song title, ever, full stop, period, The Revenge Of The Man In The Burning Ice Cream Van. The first of Bills CDs I bought new.

Cracking example of Bills mastery of the long form pieces, the last track with the visuals is an absolute work of art. More, please, Bill, when you’ve got a spare moment!

The last time Bill upgraded his studio to the Mackie system we ended up with the fabulous Noise Candy set, although I don’t think the experience was particularly pleasant for Bill. How about doing something similar to “clear the decks (disks?!)”, I’m sure with Burning Shed or Cherry Reds help the result could be a whole lot more painless? Mick

My first visit to Nelsonica and possibly the last one at the Duke? Remember being blown away watching Bill play, it seemed so effortless, definitely the mark of a master at his craft. Also won a copy of “Demonstrations Of Affection” that I managed to get signed.

I’ve even read the book a couple of times, still not much clearer. Still, looking forward to listening to the music again.

In 2003 I started a new role working with a couple of guys who were big Be Bop fans, one lent me The Love That Whirls and Red Noise which sent me off buying as much as I could, Whimsy, I think, was my first “new” release, thoroughly enjoy it and play both regularly, as opposed to Silvertone Fountains!

I’ve never been able to “get” Silvertone Fountains, just never clicked with me, I think the blue cover puts me in the wrong frame of mind for some reason. Although I always play one track on a specific day.

Really like this one, always enjoy one of Bills long form pieces.
