Still waiting here in SoCal. Evidently shipped on Jan 11th but got caught in the Royal Mail snafu. Thankfully the downloads are available so we can enjoy the wonderful music while waiting for the shiny discs to arrive.

Just finished listening to the samples for this. Wow. Bill's music just keeps getting more engaging. I realize these releases aren't even his latest recordings. I can only imagine what other delights await us!

Just ordered the bundle. Looking forward to the track lists and samples on the Discography page. Hoping all is well with Bill!

@Quinault Well, if there's enough of us here in SoCal we really ought to plan some kind of gathering. It's been a glum past two years. Would be nice to safely meet and greet over cocktails and BN music.

That's great to hear!. You and Steve are going love this one. It's an embarrassment of riches. Bill really knocked it out of the park with this vast and varied collection of aural delights. I didn't realize there were several BN fans here in the SoCal area. Would be fun to gather over drinks sometime and share our Be-Bop and BN experiences.

I had the same problem waiting for my original order and placed an expedited shipping order with Burning Shed so I'd have it to enjoy over the Christmas holiday.

I paid for expedited delivery so mine arrived just before Christmas. I think Burning Shed is rather steep with their international postage, but I wanted to enjoy having MPC during my holiday shutdown so I could enjoy it. It's a work of wonder. It takes time to unfold as there's so many ideas to absorb. It just gets richer with each listen.

Received my copy yesterday and gave disc one a focused listen with a glass of wine or three. Only 16 tracks in and I can already tell that this collection that will slowly reveal charms for many days to come. I'm on break from work until after the New Year so I'll have plenty of time to absorb it. Can't wait to dig into disc two tonight! (after a trip to the wine store) Bill, it seems to me like you've mastered the learning curve with Cubase by incorporating more textures than you've previously had at your disposal. I'm a Logic user and it amazes me the palette of sounds that can be drawn from modern DAWs and plug-ins. I expect that we'll be treated to more twists and turns as you continue to create new music. Although, I'm also excited that the backlog of unreleased projects will be getting some attention in '22. Yay!

Ordered as soon as I got the email from Burning Shed. I was already psyched for this even before hearing the samples, but omg...this is going to be special! Arrival date will be a vacation day so I can depart my world and enter Bill's latest musical universe. I can't wait.

All the BBD sets have been perfectly executed. Really pleased with how well Cherry Red/Esoteric have handled Bill's work apart from the conspicuous absence of a remastered ''Demonstrations Of Affection' in which the selected tracks included on 'Everyday Practice' sound marvelous. Here's hoping for a deluxe 'Sound On Sound' box next. And if the original multi-tracks are available for 'After The Satellite Sings' and 'Perfectly Wired' those would be magnificent to have in 5.1 as well!

Auto-buy. As BN fans we are particularly spoiled with plenty of incoming 'modern music'. But it sure is nice to have these classic BBD recordings available with bright shiny remixes in stereo and surround. The only thing more we could ask from Esoteric is new vinyl reissues of the whole catalog. Pretty please, with a cherry on top?

The two albums feel like one cohesive work. Some of Bill's strongest work yet. They've been my companions on long commutes for the past few weeks and reveal more with each listen.

You'll regret not owning Light. It's a stunner. I've no complaint with SoS, but Bill's is better hands with Burning Shed. Music media distribution is what they do. Also, there's a lot of great other artists to explore there. Bill's music is in good company and hopefully will give him more exposure to like-minded listeners.

Another stunner...and very much a compliment to 'Standby'. Worth any price of admission for just 'Strictly For The Birds' which towers amongst Bill's finest. With these most recent releases it's easy to hear Bill reaching for new expressions which straddle various aspects of his technique. I hope the transition in recording technology eventually propels him even further into exposing his imagination and musical desires. I'm not familiar with Cubase, but as recording musician I find that LogicPro has provided more capabilities in virtual instruments, effects and dynamics than I could use in a lifetime. I think we're about to experience another chapter in Bill's always evolving story.

My copy arrived last Saturday and it's been my work commute companion all week. Gotta say, this one knocked me over immediately and is up there will my favorite Bill albums. Ironically, I can't 'No Room In My Head' out of my head. What deliciously funky track. Now where's that Last Lamplighter companion album we've been promised? Fingers crossed it'll be soon.

Regarding the Esoteric reissues, whatever happened with Demonstrations Of Affection? Based on the wonderful sounding selections from the Practice of Everyday Life box, this collection would seem to benefit the most from remastering.
