It was only recorded a week or two before the broadcast date.

If I recall correctly, it was due to Bill’s positive comments regarding ‘Brilliant Trees’ that lead to David contacting Bill and the pair becoming friends…which included David inviting him along to his exhibition of photography and, of course, Bill’s contribution on the ‘Gone To Earth’ album. So, I think the ‘bad luck’ comment would be viewed by both Bill and David as incredibly inaccurate, as that particular TV show spawned a great friendship.

@Tourist … yes, I send out a newsletter usually once a month with news of new releases, usually the Bandcamp download, plus any other newsworthy info, new merchandise, magazine interviews, Xmas videos etc. To sign up, simply put your email address in the box in the form that can be found at the bottom of every page on the website that says ‘Join Our Mailing List!’ 😜

Yes the second ‘Weather Song’ is a bonus track and is a monitor mix of the first one…most noticeably (for me) is that it has a more raw, vocal track.

Bill’s Xmas Video card was put on the ESSOLDO CINEMA on the Dreamsville website, there was also a newsletter sent out to subscribers of the website and forum members alerting them… as well as the Facebook and Twitter posts. @Tourist - Did you not receive the newsletter?

I agree…I also really like the bonus ‘monitor mix’ version of the song, the nakedness of the vocals really works well.

Marvellous Realms will hopefully get the Bandcamp treatment this Friday, to coincide with official release day from Burning Shed. Stupid Serious should be downloadable on the first Friday of February, when Bandcamp Fridays return.

Just to clarify... The title track (more than 15 minutes) is a vocal performance that collages Dreamsville forum members’ submitted lyrics (mine included). The track is called 'Welcome to the Dream Transmission Pavilion', so it isn't the title track of 'Non-Stop Mystery Action'. 😉 Also, and more importantly, this track includes a poem that was written entirely by Bill and is NOT the 'Dreamsville Poetry Experiment', which has never been released on a CD in its poetic state, although a revamped instrumental version was included on 'Mazda Kaleidoscope' called "Blue Skies Listen, the Unstruck Bell".
