Bill is currently making an album available every month on Bandcamp. The ‘Trial By Intimacy’ set of albums are the latest batch, and the fourth disc, ‘A Catalogue Of Obsessions’ will be put out on Bandcamp next month.

'The Invisible Girls' were the band that provided the music for John Cooper Clarke's album 'Disguise In Love'. Bill played guitar on (I think) three songs, 'I Don't Want To Be Nice', 'Readers Wives' and 'Health Fanatic'.

I agree with Tourist, this is a fantastic album, one of my favourites and much overlooked. It was never released as a physical CD, only officially available from Bill’s Bandcamp page.

There is a page dedicated to links which will take you to interviews and features with Bill - www.billnelson.com/magazine-features As for the sleepiness of the forum - I couldn't agree more, we just need more people to post/contribute to interesting topics...but we can't force people to join in.

‘Decimal Point For The Thousand Races’ is my favourite track off the album, a groove that gets buried deep in the brain and thankfully stays there for ages!

I believe Bill talked about the project at the time, there will be reference somewhere in the archives that I need to dig out… I believe the project involved Bill writing a piece of music, that was played while visitors to the museum travelled through it in some kind of cart. I don’t believe that the music was ever used, or if it was ever actually recorded? Sadly I have never been to the Jorvik Viking Centre myself, something I must rectify very soon.

The seller in question has sold several copies of both ‘Dreamland to Starboard’ and ‘Custom Deluxe’…as well as multiple copies of other artists rare albums. The artwork colouring is slightly out from the original, and the CD label artwork has a much wider border around the disc edge than a genuine one which goes almost right to the edge of the disc.

A quick count up of tracks and I got to 68… Assuming that all the tracks are ‘standard’ length, that should equate to about FIVE album’s worth of music in the ‘Guitars of Tomorrow’ series!!! 👍🏻

@merikan1 - the Bandcamp release of 'Powertron' will be on the same day as the official CD release - Friday 3rd May.

I was gutted when I heard of this, I’ve followed Karl’s work for many years, obviously the connection with the same surname initiated my interest. RIP Karl.

Part 4 - Juke Box For Jet Boy will hopefully complete the set next month. I have to agree that they are a fantastic collection of songs.
