Just watching the F.A. Cup match between Sheffield United and Blackburn Rovers on tv. The way the commentator is pronouncing the Sheffield defender Anel Ahmedhodžić's name sounds like 'I'm a sausage'. Imaging my further amusement when he passed to midfielder Sander Berge (pronounced burger). 😁

I've been drawn into a rabbit warren of mini travelogs as the most adorable nerdy couple, Geoff and Vicki, attempt to visit all the railway stations in the UK.

A while since my last long walk. Bright sunshine on a winter's day does wonderful things to the light. I saw a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher - a flash of blue and orange across my field of vision, so still no photo. However, I did get a nice shot of a robin and an Egyptian goose on its nest 5 metres up at the top of a dead tree stump. Then there's my usual water colour reflections in the river Wandle.
