Hi Bill, I recently changed from a hard disc recording system (Yamaha AW1600 x 2) to a computer based system (Presonus Studio one Pro) and have experienced similar problems. We are musicians with technical abilities, not technicians with musical abilities. The old ways of plugging 16 channels into an Allen and Heath board are gone. Or are they? It's about being able to grab a knob and hear the change of a tom mike or a direct bass feed or?? My drummer who is a total Ludite is not interested in sub menu after sub menu. He wants to spin a knob and make a difference. It's hard not to go down the rabbit hole chasing analog plugins that promise that perfect sound that we all have been after...I think what I'm trying to say is keep it as simple as you can. The rest will fall into place soon enough.

I know it was quite some time ago but when I'm in my hotel room and reading a new script or just trying to decompress from a busy day Neptune's galaxy is my go to. You've done many wonderful pieces before and after but this is an anchor for me. Thank you J
