I bought the Kindle version of 'The Light Pours Out Of Me', and I'm early in the book, just as Magazine are getting going. Magazine were one of my favourite bands back in the late 70's and I saw them several times with and without John McGeoch. They remain one my two favourite live bands. The music scene in late 70's Manchester was an influence on where I took my degree, even though LSE/UCL beckoned. I like a broad range of music, however the impact of first hearing Magazine's 'Shot By Both Sides' and The Fall's 'Totally Wired' still resonates with me today.

@Jon I will be patient. I have limited storage room to carry on collecting discs, so will defer to official downloads where I can. It's not if we are short of a back catalogue to rediscover!

I'll be taking the Bandcamp download when that is released.

@Jon Hi Jon, thanks for the download options, however I use Bandcamp because they offer Lossless download options, including hi-res. As far as I know iTunes/Apple are lossy, as are the Amazon options. I am not in the market for lossy downloads, especially if the original has been presented in hi-res, like the BBD boxed sets.

I buy music off Bandcamp several times a month, and it's always my first port of call for any band that I want to hear more of. The only discs I've bought during the last year was the recent Focus boxed set, because it was not likely to be available as a download. I do not have the storage space for big boxed sets, which means I've missed out on the BBD boxed sets after 'SF'. I'm not an artwork/packaging junkie, so I only need the best quality music files. It would be nice if Esoteric/CherryRed would consider download purchases too. Anyway, here's to the next few Bandcamp Fridays, and Bill's continuing releases.

I've seen JCC many times, at concerts in Manchester and several times supporting The Fall. I wish my brain could keep up with his fast-talking wit.

Got my copy off Bandcamp, however I would welcome making 'Illuminated At Dusk' available too for download. I missed the CD release and only have an MP3 copy, so it would be good to put some money where it belongs.

That's a very different front sleeve to my original release.
