Sorry to read today of the passing of the Commander of the Lost Planet Airmen over the weekend. Really enjoyed their sound even now listening to their old records.

Went for a drive from work at noon today playing my new CD of Santana III. If you havent heard this for some time, it's worth a reawakening; BATUKA followed by NO ONE TO DEPEND ON. The interrelating guitars of Carlos Santana and Neil Schon on these two songs is just amazing. Wild, savage and sublime

Had a fiddle competition to attend in the other world. Great character. Was a regular at the Armadillo in the 70's. Will be missed.

I received an e-mail overnight from Bandcamp in which they advise that this Friday they are waving their revenue share of any purchases for 24 hours for the benefit of the artists. Good opportunity to buy some of Bill's music missing from your collection, and benefit Bill more than usual ! These are the things that make Bancamp worth supporting.

Passed on over the delta today at the young age of ...127... Will miss him very much. Crazy Blues, Champagne Charlie, Mississippi Delta Blues and so much more. Discovered him in 1977 during college days.
