Like Tourist has mentioned, a lot of the old gang seem to have faded into the background of late, but I’m sure, like me, they keep in touch by dropping in now and then to see what Bill’s been up to..🤓

Hi all! Just got the link to pre order the double package of Stupid Serious/Marvellous Realms and obviously the order is in! Listening to the samples, I think Stupid Serious will be a definite hit with me..the samples are so good! Marvellous Realms will I think be a bit of a grower like some of Bill’s work which, over time it suddenly grabs you and bites you on the bum and it’s the “Crikey, didn’t hear THAT before!” moment..but that’s the beauty of some of Bill’s works, I love listening and discovering new sounds and other delicacies on repeated listens… Always good to hear your new music Bill, keep well sir and looking forward to the future releases! 😀

Following on from TheMikeN and Tourists posts, I've just finished watching the Danny Boyle "Pistol" series, which I found thoroughly entertaining and recommend. I am now half way through Steve Jones "Lonely boy" memoirs which the series was based on and he mentions that he and Paul Cooke were great fans of Be Bop Deluxe and Bill and they would spend hours listening to Axe Victim and later Futurama.. this was around the time when Steve Jones was learning to play guitar, as he couldn't sing to save his life, so yeah, Bill played his part in kicking off the punk revolution!🎸🎸

Listening to it now and WOW! I bloody love Bill's instrumentals and this one is grabbing me instantly! I don't think anyone is going to be disappointed with this...GUITAR HEAVEN! Very similar in tone to 'Gleaming without Lights' and every track a winner! Cheers Bill, you've done it again! Andy

Bill’s instrumental albums are always a joy for me, just edging the vocal based ones. Of course, Bill’s vocal oriented albums are always a treat....evocative lyrics delivered in Bill’s inimitable style...but, the instrumental albums always seem to be the ones that get played the most in planet Andy land. 👌 Anyway, you know what I mean...🤓 So, bring on Dazzlebox Bill and if it’s a triple album even better! 🤞

That’s terrible news Peter...like you, through conversations with Gavin, I knew it was coming but it’s still a shock. He was indeed a character, a great guitarist and all round nice guy and came across as a loving family man..so sad...rest in peace big fellah...

Always had a soft spot for Diana Rigg since the Avengers...I remember back in the early seventies when I was in secondary school, we went to the theatre to see a Shakespeare play at the Old Vic. Diana Rigg was playing the part of Lady Macbeth, though I could be wrong..Anyway, I remember being in awe when seeing her ‘in the flesh’ so to speak. Afterwards we were hanging about outside and she came out, waved to us all with a beaming smile and walked past me and made her way to a waiting car! Fifty years later, the memory is still fresh in my mind...Beautiful lady!

So sorry to hear this very sad news Bill, sincere condolences to you and your family. I remember 2/3 years ago at one of your CD launches in Leeds when your lovely mother walked out to take her seat, a spontaneous round of applause greeted her..wonderful moment..

Hi Jon, Ok, I registered, I paid me money and tried to log on to Inplayer to watch our Bill...but the bugger still wants me to pay money again, doesn't recognise my password ( invalid credentials),tried the forgotten password link...no email to change password....then asks for a token? WTF! To be blunt...'wot a load of bollocks! I give up! I like to think I know my way around a computer, but this is a minefield to navigate. Glad I was there on the night!

@Jon Thanks for your detailed reply Jon..I know it’s a bugger to get things absolutely spot on and please everyone and I‘m sure I’ll get accustomed to the new forum in the long run....I just though a little feedback on how I was finding it would be of some use to you..and by the way, I’m on Virginmedia 100mbps broadband and have never had any issues with speed and loading.. Keep up the good work matey...you and the others do a grand job behind the scenes..👍 Andy
