@Tourist because of my listening habits when I was a wee kiddo, whenever I see or hear the word "elegance," the track Europe Endless (Kraftwerk) starts playing in my head with that bit of lyric 'Elegance and decadence, Europe Endless ... Elegance and decadence, Europe Endless ...'
@Tourist That’d make a great prog rock album title and/or great, evocative song titles for any genre.
Now that you mention it, “Hell” is an apt description for that photograph. It does look like punishment and drudgery. I was however just enjoying the soft light and shadow shapes.
Was actually thinking of “Hell” and how when I first read what you wrote, I thought it was “Heil,” which startled me, but made me laugh.

Reminds me of a Led Zeppelin song. Also reminds me of a book by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Castle Combe, England - by Kiel James Patrick
Wow! Absolutely dreamy.
@Alan whenever Bill Nelson sings or sometimes talk-sings that word "England" in his songs, it's often images like this one that spring to mind.

An absolutely perfect shot. I'm guessing that's the sun peering through the top of the tree. Very nice.
Here's looking to the future.
