On the soundtrack of this excellent video at approx. 11:15 ...just after 'My Favourite Atom' (from 'Magnificent Dream People') there is a nice instrumental that I don't know the name of...can anyone tell me what it is and which album it's from. The tunes that follow it are 'V Ghost' (from After The Satellite Sings) and 'Over Ocean' from (The Summer Of God's Piano?)
I know it's a bit of an ask...but someone must know. I doubt if even Bill remembers where all these tracks are from!
Try your best please...then I can sleep:)
It wasn't easy to find in the Cinema section Major - not one I'm familiar with though

Its "Les Amoureux' ♥️from “Pavilions of the heart and soul” major 👍
Thanks so much Steve. By strange coincidence, I brought that big 4 LP box set down from the loft today to see if I could find it on one of the albums. I thought that it did have the sound of that collection...but so far I have only played The Summer Of God's Piano LP. I was in the right ball part after all it seems... thanks...I appreciate you telling me. :)
Its interesting Major how a song reframed in this way makes its etiology difficult to pinpoint ...and it also makes me think just how many pieces of music that Bill has recorded, which makes his comments regarding the be bop deluxe period as just a fragment of his output even more relevant ... staggering really
I had to look up 'aetiology' in the dictionary. It's nice to learn a new word. :)
Yes, Bill has gone from one new exciting phase to another pretty much constantly. I like the 1990s and his return to a more 'main stream' style of guitar playing ... with albums such as...After The Satellite Sings
During this pandemic/lock down, I've been experiencing bouts of severe enuui. Digging out albums that I've not played for a while has kept me going.
"Tomorrow I will be playing... Magnificent Dream People and ...Weird Critters albums".
That's something to look forward to.
Major ! its not"Les Amoureux' its a track called "To the sea in ships" from the Chameleon album (track 16) ....which I have been listening to the last couple of days ....they both have a similar harmony guitar sound ....mystery solved :)
They both sound exactly the same to me and are exactly the same length.
They are definitely not the same track ..... the similarity is in the guitar riff ...and I hate splitting hairs but Les amoureux is 12 seconds longer :) .....yes as has been pointed out I am a middle aged obsessive fan boy :)
