I gave this album a listen with fresh ears (having not listened to it for quite a while) this morning. An amazingly rich collection of evocative instrumentals in various styles, with nostalgic references (Duane Eddy, Blackpool Tower Wurlitzer organ, sea and seagulls...) and dazzling guitar. Almost overwhelming - and for that reason I suspect it'll take a while to be fully appreciated as one of Bill's finest albums (to my ears at least). And it contains the swooningly, achingly lovely 'Reighton Sands'!
I see that the listening notes (which give autobiographical details from Bill to accompany each of the tracks) are still available, and definitely worth a read, to provide an extra dimension: https://www.billnelson.com/listening-notes-all-that-i-remember
