Then some racist yobs at another table started making fun of the waiter. Danny could see John getting angrier and angrier, and tried to keep him calm - "Don't, John, it's not worth it!".
But eventually Martyn could stand it no more, jumped to his feet - an angry bull of a man - and started cracking heads together. He started fighting with a few of the yobs, and was doing pretty well against them.
That left about three or four of them, who suddenly turned round and glared at Danny. Now he wasn't a big man, so this was a moment for panic, or for quick thinking.
"Stop!", he shouted. "I taught him everything he knows!".
