World Outside The Window

I stumbled across these guys recently. They only have 2 eps. What is interesting is that they have posted 3 very different versions of each. The original versions are late 90's melodeath. The 'revisited' versions from 2025 are a bit more 'polished' prog metal versions. All 4 of these releases are free downloads. Lastly, there are the 'fusioned' versions released this year. Amazing difference. These are upbeat, jazzy and have some kick-ass jazz/rock guitar, horns (synth?) and 'clean' vocals. It is interesting to listen to the different versions of the tracks. Enjoy.

Afterglow was formed as a two-piece band in the summer of 1995 in Mezőkövesd, Hungary, and was one of the few bands that stood out for the then emerging so-called melodic death metal style. Later they expanded and turned to a new musical direction. They released two demos and disbanded in 1998.
