Yeah, I think of the Rollers as part of that era. I like the way the guitars sound and the drums in some of it was like Taiko drumming, especially The Glitter Band. I got alerted to TGB because of XTC bringing Pete Phipps onboard after Terry Chambers left. Some of their hits like 'Angel Face' got radio play over here. I remember hearing 'Love In The Sun' on the radio when I was a kid and thinking it was Beach Boys or Beach Boys-affiliated.
The Bay City Rollers song that I remember the most was 'Yesterday's Hero' because when we were little kids and the Rollers weren't heard from for a few months or a year or whatever it was, we thought they were done and then, one day, when we were 12-year-olds, 11-year-olds, 10-year-olds or whatever, we saw them on TV playing this song. I remember thinking they were going introspective like how The Beatles, etc. went.
