Free Travel Challenge
All through summer I gave myself a challenge of travelling to every furthest station and outer terminus with no other through route in the London area that I could visit for free using my 60+ Travelcard. I also tried to find a local green space walk when I got there. This was on National Rail, Overground, Underground, Docklands Light Railway and Tram services. There were 48 stations in total and I made 172 rail journeys covering a distance of 1,220.3 miles. Favourite station frontages were Edgware, Uxbridge and Bromley North with a special award for cutest station going to Chesham.

hmmm, Uxbridge tube station - that brings back some memories, not necessarily good.
Worked in the "Black Tower" (Harman House) directly behind it for c.a. 15 years.
In summer you could watch the rats sunning themselves along the back of the station...
