50 Today!

Here's my little tribute, in honour of Ziggy Stardust, born 50 years ago today.

I thought it warranted it's own thread.

'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars', was first released on 16th June 1972 and Bowie's iconic alter-ego was born (the Starman lead single preceding this in April of '72).

So I created this little artwork, a bit of a mish-mash really (and I know the Bowie image is off the Aladdin Sane cover, but I love his hair on this)..I just wanted to get the message out there and say, come on people, get this intergalactic masterpiece out today, give it a few spins, as a salute to Bowie's huge influence and effect on creativity, music and experimentation, which simply can't be overstated.
