Watching this documentary on BBC 4 on the history of guitar music, hosted by Patty Smith's guitarist, Lenny Kaye. Duane Eddy is one of the artists featured. Hopefully, it will be available on BBC iPlayer for those of you who aren't watching it.

Thanks Jim, I nearly missed this. Great to see Lenny (curator of the legendary Nuggets compilation, as well as Patti’s axeman among other things) unearthing some neat archive clips and contemporary examples of electric guitars and guitarists, illustrating how sounds and techniques have developed & evolved down the years (straight into Spinal Tap territory!) Then back to Les Paul … great!
