‘Rock Concert’

Tonight’s the night! Finally! Been counting

Down for well over a year. Many anxious

Tears, until it was actually confirmed that

We had managed to obtain tickets. Had

Pre-booked, but the backlog was huge

And it was potluck who got a golden

Ticket! At last! All was finally well wow!

Take our seats. Chattering everywhere.

Huge arena was abuzz with excitement.

Support band strolled nonchalantly on-

To the stage. Played a few songs. Rock

And some slower. Nice selection from a

Young band. Guitar, drums, bass, piano

And vocals. Got the crowd going and

Drink was flowing, so it was a decent

Atmosphere. Finished their set. CDs

Eagerly offered in the carpeted and big

Foyer after the concert. Again, checked

The sound, then the lights went down…..
