SHINE 2023 (REDUX DEUX)
This is the second draft. If you look at the song I'm basically jamming it out on one chord: E9. The song has two chords: E9 & A. The reason I have one chord is that I jam along to a guitar looper pedal that I do funk with. It's great to do funk on one chord. So this came from a one-chord jam... and it's a bit of a butcher job. Still, it's got some good parts. And I think I can ratify it down to essentials but that would take a lot of thought, especially with the visuals. Think of a video where everything flows right, a logic and structure, and an economy of effort directed at one purpose. To tell a story!
Anyway, this is it for now. Maybe a tearing away is needed to get the simplicity of imagery and color. We'll see what happens...
