(MINE IS No 1.) THESE ARE VISUALLY STRIKING GUITARS BUT ALSO PLAY VERY WELL AND HAVE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF USE IN MY STUDIO. Great track!..😎 'Can't Stand The Rezillos' is another fantastic debut album, from a whole plethora of great debut releases of/around that time, leading into the early '80s. I always liked Joe Callis on guitar, which kind of melded rock & roll/punk/pop, was melodic, but always exciting, cutting and fresh. If you like Callis, check out his releases/recordings with his band Shake, same era. Here are a couple of nice tracks from them, which offered something a little different, including great cover artwork....A great little hook in Glasshouse. The late, great Roy Orbison with his Gretsch/Gibson hybrid guitar and a Vox AC 30 amp with exactly the same type of chrome stand that I had on my own AC 30 way back in the mid-'60s.

Found this pic on the internet. A fan seems to have both the Astroluxe Custom Limited and the Astroluxe Cadet in his collection. Nice to see my designs being appreciated!(Though he seems to have the Duesenberg Trem's arm fitted the wrong way 'round!) 😉

Now this is the anniversary today of seeing this group in concert in 1999. All are Blue Note artists in their own right. They got together & toured as a sort of “jazz supergroup” on the occasion of Blue Notes 60th Anniversary that year. Fantastic show. But found out last week that they did produce this album, which I’d never heard about. Tried to see about ordering it. No, Blue Note doesn’t have a CD to sell, as it was originally an on-demand offering. It is available through streaming. Amazon.com had a couple at so-so pricing. But found a copy on Discogs.com for a more reasonable price. So it arrived in the mail today, on the anniversary of seeing those guys live. Whoa! .
