It's a great interview Alec, one of their best, imho...and he's talking exactly about the music scene and bands that I followed at that time. He's a great guy, tons of musical knowledge. I met him when he played in Kirk Brandon's Theatre of Hate and we briefly talked about Bill. He's a big fan. Wouldn't it be great if the Rockonteurs got Bill on the show?!!...That would be a cracker.😎

Ah, I see where the confusion lies. You’re not referring to the ‘Store’ as such, but the album’s page in the ‘Discography’ (which is linked to from the Store). I shall mention in the ‘current availability’ bit in the Discography that it’s the UK single CD version that is available from Bandcamp. Hopefully that will help save any confusion.

Bill standing on the old foundations of the Chalet that his parents owned at The Golden Sands Chalet Park in Withernsea on the East Coast of Yorkshire. The Chalet had fallen over the cliffs into the sea due to coastal erosion. Bill feeling sad at the loss of his parent's Chalet at Withernsea. The pebbles were originally collected by Bill from the beach and laid out as a paving pattern in front of the Chalet, sometime in the early 1960s when he was in his teens.. Today, (2020,) the sea has come in even further and swept away more chalets and the area where Bill is squatting in the photo' no longer exists. Here's a pic of the three piece line up of Be Bop Deluxe before Andy joined on keyboards. Charlie, Simon and I actually did some shows as a three piece band and I performed 'Love With The Madman' live, playing an electric piano on stage whilst singing.

SOME PERSONAL SNAPSHOTS NUMBER 3... Here's an old photo' I found of Emi and myself at home in our lounge... The next photo' is of a time in the 1970s when I took my Mum and Dad and brother Ian on holiday to a rented farmhouse near Diss on the Norfolk /.Suffolk border. Mum and Dad are sitting in the doorway of the house and Ian is standing outside. My Dad had to have one of his legs amputated through illness and was wheelchair bound at this time. He later lost the other leg due to the same problem, a terrible blow for a man who had loved sport and activity all his life. And it's difficult to realise that all three people in this photograph have now passed away... Here's a photo' of me guesting with 'Bolt From The Blue', a band my brother Ian was a member of.
