- The Lockdown SongIn William's World23 November 2020That is such fun, Bill. Thank you. I've been aware for quite a long time that my favourites (with lyrics) from amongst your massive back catalogue are the ones on which you sound either pissed off or sarcastic - I have no idea why - it probably says more about me than anything else. Anyway, The Lockdown Song has that fabulous sardonic tone which hits the spot exactly. I'm not asking you to be in a permanent bad mood while recording, but feel free to vent your feelings in future recordings! The blues-y guitar riff on this freebie is a marvellous thing too. I can only dream of ever making such a sound.31

- Aye aye..... Been a while folks - how we all doing, what's going down....? 🙋In World Outside The Window11 February 2023Hello!......It's been reasonably quiet around DV of late, but nice to see you pop in Ian. Like the guitar photo btw..😎 It's a shame in a way the old forum has completely vanished, there were some good threads and posts and lots of BN related, and music in general, facts and stats on there...It would have made a pretty decent reference archive, even if direct interaction re posting was disabled. But, this new forum is pretty cool and tbh, I do prefer the layout and functionality, and general look of this new site. Quite a lot of the old regulars don't post anymore, but I imagine they keep a track of things from the sidelines, and everyone moves one, in one way or another.🙂31
- Aye aye..... Been a while folks - how we all doing, what's going down....? 🙋In World Outside The Window12 February 2023Hiya Ian! Always good to hear from the old Dreamsville posters, hope all is good in Felix world mate! Like Tourist has mentioned, a lot of the old gang seem to have faded into the background of late, but I’m sure, like me, they keep in touch by dropping in now and then to see what Bill’s been up to..🤓31

- Your Favourite Promo Music Vid'sIn World Outside The Window19 March 2024Not seen this before, pretty cool. It instantly made me think of the Arnold effects in Terminator and Total Recall...Wonder if there was any connection with the special effects crews involved? I have no idea, but would have a bet there is a connection = it looks scarily similar. Re Adam & the Ants, I saw them once at Nottingham's Sandpiper club, a great punk venue and my favourite ever music venue. The Nottingham Boat Club was a really great live music venue too.. I saw lots of great bands there, back then and was at the Sandpiper many, many times. There was also a really great West Indian reggae nightclub/music venue, (literally) next door, called the Ad-Lib...we used to go there a lot too!...Happy days!! Can't remember exact date for the Ants, but it was post Zerox single and pre Dirk Wears White Sox, so sometime in that period of 1979 (I think, if memory serves correct, lol)..I would have been 19.3
