NO ONE COULD ACCEPT THE IDEA OF A 'PLANK' OF WOOD BEING USED AS A GUITAR BODY AT FIRST, SO THIS IS WHY HE INCORPORATED THE IDEA INTO AN ADAPTED ARCHTOP, TO MAKE IT MORE ACCEPTABLE. LATER ON, OF COURSE, THE LES PAUL MODEL MADE THE CONCEPT OF A SOLID BODY GUITAR VIABLE, AND THE REST IS HISTORY.

@Pete - Glad you're filling some of the gaps with the Bandcamp releases. Sorry the last few have been unnecessary for your collection, obviously you can't please everyone! There are plenty more titles to add to Bandcamp yet although it isn't a quick and easy process, a lot of work goes into preparing the albums for the digital treatment, so you may have to be patient waiting for specific albums. The albums you mention will all get the Bandcamp treatment at some point in the future EXCEPT 'Blue Moons and Laughing Guitars' which is owned by Virgin, so unfortunately Bill doesn't have the rights to release that album.

Mmm...Well, he's certainly not made a Christmas appearance here at Dreamsville, which is very strange, out of character and somewhat worrying. If it's health related, totally understandable, but someone mentioned Bill had been writing on his FB page, so, I don't know...Just what is going on?...I expect many here are thinking the same thing, so I've said it for you. I hope Bill is ok and well...But he's not connected with this site in quite a long time, so some communication/update would be nice/appreciated....A concerned fan and forum member.

Just to clarify... The title track (more than 15 minutes) is a vocal performance that collages Dreamsville forum members’ submitted lyrics (mine included). The track is called 'Welcome to the Dream Transmission Pavilion', so it isn't the title track of 'Non-Stop Mystery Action'. 😉 Also, and more importantly, this track includes a poem that was written entirely by Bill and is NOT the 'Dreamsville Poetry Experiment', which has never been released on a CD in its poetic state, although a revamped instrumental version was included on 'Mazda Kaleidoscope' called "Blue Skies Listen, the Unstruck Bell".

Thanks for that Alec, what a great drummer, and a lovely guy. Seems he was quite down to earth even after their early success in 1966 (I was 10, and loved the pop scene back then!)
