- Potential Bill Nelson album covers. In The World And His Wife6 July 2021Here's my little tribute to Bill and his friend, Harold Budd...A nod as to what might have been, two pals flying high and soaring free with a whole world of exploration and possibilities ahead...a pleasant thought trying to imagine just what a studio collaboration would have produced. Concept, design and all artwork by Tourist...I wanted a grainy 1940's/50's magazine print look for this edit.32

- A Sojourn continues…In William's World·18 January 2025A simple distraction from the horrors of current news of events I have turned from Sonoluxe to BSFcd001 and DOAOcd006 (which are part of Sonoluxe but not numbered as such) 🤷♂️. A happy little detour.32146

- AI...just how concerned should we be?In World Outside The Window11 September 2022My concern regarding AI is not that it will become truly sentient and wipe us out. It's unlikely to happen in our lifetime for several reasons. No, my concern in the short to medium-term is corporations using ever more sophisticated AI to largely replace the human workforce. It's already underway. This means we're going to need a system very like Universal Basic Income, and higher corporation taxes to pay for it. Attitudes about 'working for a living' and defining our status and worth by our occupation will have to change. And that's going to be a massive social problem. Imagine it.32
- Astro-boyIn World Outside The Window13 May 2022Thanks for the replies guys...No, I'm not trying to contact astro, or anyone from the old forum, personally. I do miss quite a lot of the old crew who used to post regularly on the old site and the general banter it used to generate (ups and downs) and I think there was much more of a community spirit back then and so, to that extent, I do miss it...Maybe when I made the post above, I was feeling a little nostalgic/wistful/reflective. I'm sure anyone who used to be a regular and wanted to pick up the thread again on the new forum, would do so, so it's best left at that really...But I was just sending out a few nice positive vibes, in the hope that J and one or two of the old crew might just receive them...Anyway, thanks for the input and advice/ideas, much appreciated and nice to see some 'old faces' again!32
