I was listening to Some Girls the other day. Here's one of my favorites from that album. When this album was released I was browsing in a record store, and picked it up. The one with the original cover. I decided to buy something else that day and come back for Some Girls the following week. By the time I returned to purchase it, they had pulled the original prints and replaced it with the alternate cover. 😯 So it goes. Before They Make Me Run (Remastered)

Mick Ronson, gone 29 years ago as of yesterday..Hard to believe that amount of time has gone since his passing, a wonderful musician and his contribution to Bowie's work and success can't be underestimated, including some wonderful string arrangements...He did great work with many musicians/artists, and I'm listening to him right now!..😎

We're currently travelling at the moment and due to a technical hitch/problem, will be unable to order until next Thursday or Friday, when get back to base. Question please, is there a limited number maximum on the pre-orders?..e.g. 500, or 1000?...or are they going to be manufactured as per number of orders put in? (plus extras, I presume, to put in the Store)..I would hate to miss out on this, it would be a bit devastating, as it really does sound superb. I hope I'm not running the risk of missing out..😐 BTW, not to give this guy any 'airtime', but the person already advertising two copies of My Private Cosmos for sale, with the signed cards, on ebay at £120 each, should be ashamed of themselves.. Profiteer.

Here's one more from Jackie mag '73.....a girl down the road from us wore eye make up like that at the time - she was called Marlene, and had a fur coat and massive cork heels - off to the Red Lion pub in our village of Blackrod, and then she'd be seen crawling home at midnight with holes in her tights and one shoe - she was class stuff that Marlene......

Great stuff, but why don't we have something like that on this site? It's very quiet around here.
