I believe labels will continue to abuse artists until they are clever. Every year, in my opinion, groundbreaking albums are released. Each is finally put to the test by selection. Only Good music remains put, period. As such, advertising has become spot on since then. Such companies like https://streamingfamous.com/buy-spotify-plays/ have a lot to win. Whatever era it may be. Collectively, music is impossible to define since it runs in countless directions and always changes. Legit hip-hop has always existed. Rock stayed put. Pop-country music is harsh. Jazz is a dynamic genre. It's only off the beaten road; it's not dead.

Saw the new incarnation of Gong and the Steve Hillage Band a couple of weeks ago, but I don't get out much these days. Great musicianship and a positive vibe from the godfather of trance himself. As usual, bumped into old friends from the acid days of yore. Totally different band than last time I saw them, no Theo Travis on Sax but still a very good night.

It's just one of my favourite songs, this one. I remember I had a JL boot with it on it and this was AFTER The Rutles. A friend of mine met Eric Idle a few years ago and Eric knew about the bootleg crediting it to John Lennon but pointed out that he [Eric] was there when Neil was in the process of writing it. Somehow Innes channeled not only A Day In The Life but Imagine and #9 Dream and did it in such a way that many of us who've ever found ourselves hypnotised by any music by Lennon find ourselves hypnotised by this track. Also that effect on the vox is my favourite vocal effect, the slap-back delay. Instant Karma was another great example of that vox processing effect.

I'm a bit biased because I'm a fan of his band Knifeworld, but I think Kavus Torabi is a good new frontman for Gong and hopefully they will continue for many years to come.

Who is this “Bill Nelson” guy? .

My first song in 2020 was the author's song that I composed and recorded for the first time. Thanks to quarantine, I realized that music is what I want and should do in my life. I wrote 30 songs in a few months and made studio recordings. Now I am developing a music marketing strategy with experts in this field. Because advertising is significant right now, I think very soon the world will hear my first author's album, and I will certainly share it with you.
