- The return of Trump - what next?In World Outside The Window12 November 2024I saw a headline close to the election that read something like ‘Michael Moore says Trump is Toast’. 🫥😶 I admired the confidence and I liked that Ms Harris was born in the same city and hospital as me and she’s only slightly older but it seemed to me that once again, we coastal people forget that there are all these people in the middle of the country. Michael Moore is a Midwesterner so he’s got less of an excuse.00

A friend of mine had a son who was a bit of a tearaway and was in a gang who used to break into houses. They were all about 14. They were always in trouble and some of them lived rough around London. It was like something out of Dickens, like the way McLaren later tried to portray the Pistols. It was unbelievable. This gang numbered around five or six kids. They used to push him in through windows as he was very small. It felt like savagery, the gang were young savages. It felt like the times.
