@Alec Glad you like it. The Murder Capital are a band I seem to have instantly connected with..and I suppose, that connection back to my youth and bands like Joy Division, the Bunnymen etc marries to the JD vibe in this track...Although I have to say, I just think that's part of the overall chemistry of this band, inevitable influences etc, and it transcends any hint of a cheap or slavish copy...really good and original music. I'm digging quite a bit of new music recently, this band, Zanias, Linea Aspera (duo inc Zanias), Lucy Blue, Public Service Broadcasting, to name a few. I agree re the slo-mo motorbike, it's so striking and is the stand out visual in the video. Choosing the right frame of this sequence and producing a print would make a really cool album cover.

@Tourist there’s the familiar California flag with the bear on it. Heard there are moves afoot to change that flag. I like the bear, though. Hope it stays. The backing vocals bring me to the late ‘70s/early ‘80s new wave sounds of The Dickies, who reminded me of The Ramones and I see a Ramones shirt here. Speaking of the late ‘70s/early ‘80s, the way the band walks in and then walks out of the room reminded me of events that take place in the Madness promo for their song ‘Shut Up.’ Madness - Shut Up (Official Video)

I even ordered a cd 😳 although all of their music is available on the Amazon music app … a more melodic Animals as leaders 👍 the video you posted is bloody good too …. ahhh we are blessed 😬❤️
